Are Your Web Pages Being Indexed by Google and Yahoo

Have you ever wondered why your web site seems to show up in Google and Yahoo, but not in MSN or Ask?

Google and Yahoo typically are the sites that draw the majority of the traffic to the Internet. In fact, in the meantime, 20% of the traffic on the Internet originates from these two engines. The question is: are Google and Yahoo showing up in the results of the engines that are important to you?

How to check the indexation

To find out if your site is being scooped up by Google and Yahoo, take a look at your IP to lookup tool. You can find out the IP address of the top-level domain that hosts the page you are viewing through the help of your IP lookup tool. If the IP address shows, you are holding fast. If the IP address shows, you are holding fast. If you are not able to find your site by these two IP addresses, it means that your site isn’t being indexed by Google and Yahoo.

You can also try a site explorer for your site. In Google and Yahoo, you can use the site explorer command to see the information for the domain that you are trying to check if your site is being indexed. If you use the information that is returned by this search engine tool, you will be able to see which pages of your site are indexed by Google and Yahoo.

If still, you are not able to find your site by using either of these tools, you may want to use a different search engine. Many search engines are popular, and all work differently. It would be a good idea to use different search engines and see which one works best for you and your web site.

Although there are many search engines available, using Google and Yahoo is probably your best bet since it is supported by the search engine giants.

New features of search engines

Google and Yahoo! have recently come up with a new feature to make the job of optimizing for both their organic search results and ad results more difficult. You read that right. Now it will be harder for webmasters to game the search engines by “hiding” their ads from the search engine results.

You’ve probably noticed that Google and Yahoo! have started to add more ads to their results page while playing games with publishers ( publishers can pull ads while passing along a small percentage of the revenue they get from each click). That’s no big deal over the long haul because Google and Yahoo! have already been providing some fine results for early on without having to worry about the revenue brought in from every click.

There are two key factors that a webmaster will need to focus on if he wants to rank well in Yahoo and Google. The first is backlinks and maybe some good content. The second factor will require webmasters to manage their link strategy if they want to rank well in both places about their site.

I’ve seen a report from Matt Cutts from Google’s Webmaster Central forum detailing some tips webmasters can use to keep their site ranking in Google search results. One of the tips he shared is to increase the number of anchor text links to a site. Anchor text link refers to a link that uses a text file to link to a web page rather than an URL. Many people used to use Google toolbar URL misspelled keywords as anchor texts to trick Google and then used those to rank highly in Google.

The importance of anchor text

Anchor text links are not as important as they once were. Back in the day, you could pack a page with hundreds of identical links and then boost the value of those links by sending links from the same IP addresses. Recognize that? That’s what you have to do to rank well in Bing and Google by adding links from the same C- block an IP range.

What does this tell you? Basically that if you have a ton of backlinks to a site, the better your site will rank in the search engines. I’m not saying that it’s always going to work, but it WILL work in some cases.

The problem I have with this is that you are taking a huge amount of work off of your own hands. If you want to rank in Google so you can get that link from that blog, you have to create the content to make it worthy of a link.

The other trick is that you don’t have to get it right the first time. Chances are that it will work for you just fine the second time.

The link is just like any other thing that you want to get or to not get. The problem is that having one is quite hard to do, especially when you have a ton of work to do to get it.
